Metal chimeneas will rust. How much they rust is dependant on whether they are left outside in all weathers, how much they are used, how they are looked after. All can be re-painted. Rust does not affect use.



Metal chimeneas surfaces can become very hot in use and will burn the skin if touched. We recommend the use of a chimenea guard when small children are present.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Do not tighten fixings until the assembly is complete The lock washers are next to the nuts Please separate the bolts and nuts by size before starting the assembly. 1. Carefully turn the bottom bowl (D) upside down and attach the three legs (F) by inserting the six M6 X 20 bolts (J) , washers (L),lock washers (M) and nuts (K). Leave the fixings loose. 2. Stand the bottom bowl on the three legs and attach the connection plates (H) to the bottom bowl (D) by inserting three M6 X 20 bolts (J), washers (L), lock washers (M) and nuts (K). 3. Attach top bowl (C) to bottom bowl (D) using the connection plates (H) and inserting three M6 X 20 bolts (J), washers (L),lock washers (M) and nuts (K). 4. Install the funnel (B) to the top bowl (C) by insert three M6 X 30 bolts (I), washers (L),lock washers (M) and nuts (K). 5. Attach mesh door hook (G) on the left of top bowl (C) with pre assembled bolts and nuts, then assemble spark guard (E) to the right of top bowl (C) with pre assembled bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts. 6. Put rain lid (A) on funnel (B). Now check and tighten all fixings, assembly is complete. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE FIXINGS WHICH MAY CRACK THE CAST IRON.

• Place fire on a flat, non-flammable surface like stone, gravel, or bricks.
• Never use it near flammable objects like bushes, trees, awnings, or furniture.
• Don't use it in a closed space like a conservatory or shed. Fumes are dangerous!
• Keep children and pets away from the fire. Don't leave it unattended.
• Use a fire extinguisher or sand to extinguish flames if needed.
• Never throw water on a real fire.
• Only use approved firelighters and fuel (wood or charcoal).
• Enjoy your fire responsibly! Don't be a nuisance to neighbors.

• Burn wood logs, charcoal, coal, or briquettes. Avoid garden refuse.
• Cast iron chimeneas are heavy. Lift with at least two people.
• Protect your floor from rust marks with a chimenea cover.
• Chimeneas may rust - it's natural. Oil the surface after each use to minimize rust.

• Clean all cooking accessories thoroughly before and after each use.
• Use cast iron cookware for best results.
• Never use kitchen pans or pots - they may melt.
• Pre-heat cast iron accessories for best results.
