Please note the stand is a separate item. There is no finish on this pizza oven, leaving the natural pale white colour of the Chimalin AFC clay. Chimalin AFC is a new and unique fire clay developed by Gardeco, offering exceptional resistance to fire cracking. This chimenea is guaranteed 5 years against cracking due to thermal shock.

USAGE AND MAINTENANCE

1. Read and follow safety instructions for Pizzaro Pizza Oven.
2. Use outdoors only; never use inside conservatories, sheds, or summer houses.
3. Keep a minimum one-meter distance from flammable items.
4. Place on a flat surface; avoid slopes to prevent tipping.
5. Avoid placing near plants, under awnings, or close to flammable materials.
6. Use Gardeco Floor Protector to shield decking or patio stones.
7. Protect hands with Gardeco FIRE GLOVE; never touch the burning oven.
8. Keep pets and children away during use.
9. In case of fuel spill or spreading flames, extinguish with earth, sand, or a FIRE BLANKET.
10. Do not use petrol, paraffin, or fire lighters; use balled newspaper and dry kindling.
11. Never leave a burning oven unattended; ensure fire is out before leaving.
12. Avoid moving a burning oven; caution against use in windy conditions.
13. Be considerate of neighbors; minimize smoke and noise.

LIGHTING AND USING THE PIZZARO PIZZA OVEN

1. Clean the oven before use; use a soft brush and dustpan.
2. Use about 2.5 kgs of wood for 35 minutes of heating.
3. Insert a pizza stone, heat to 300 degrees C, and cook for 30-35 minutes.
4. Turn pizza stone with a peel; avoid touching the oven dome.
5. Cook pizzas up to 10 inches in diameter for about four minutes.
6. Remove with a peel, slide onto a board, and serve immediately.
7. Do not touch the oven while hot.

WOOD FUEL

1. Use well-seasoned wood; avoid treated pallet wood.
2. Split logs into thin pieces for optimal burning.
3. Traditional oak chips enhance flavour.
4. Use dry wood to minimize smoke.

CARE OF PIZZA OVEN AND ACCESSORIES

1. Clean accessories before use; coat with vegetable oil.
2. Wash with hot water and detergent after use; coat with oil before storage.
3. Remove black soot with hot water and detergent.
4. Do not leave hot accessories on flammable surfaces.
5. Protect hands with Gardeco FIRE GLOVES.

FOOD HYGIENE AND SAFETY

1. Keep food in hygienic conditions; avoid leaving in the sun.
2. Store meat and vegetables separately.
3. Consume cooked food immediately; dispose of leftovers.
4. Ensure meat is thoroughly cooked.
5. Handle hot accessories with care; use Gardeco FIRE GLOVES.
6. Do not leave cooking accessories unattended in the fire.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Gardeco Ltd Pizza Oven Assembly

Follow these instructions to join the flat base to the dome securely before using the oven. The dome is heavy, requiring at least two people for safe lifting.

WARNING: Handle with Care

1. Positioning the Flat Base:

   • Place the flat base on the assembled pizza oven stand or desired location.
   • If using the stand, assemble it first.

2. Applying Fire Cement:

   • Mix fire cement powder with water to peanut butter consistency.
   • Spread a 2-3mm layer around the upper face rim of the flat base, keeping it 2mm or 3/4 inch wide from the edge.

3. Placing the Dome:

   • Gently place the dome onto the flat base, ensuring central alignment.
   • Positioning hint: Use wood pieces under the dome for easier adjustment, supporting the rear of the dome by the mouth.

4. Final Steps:

   • Avoid trapping fingers while placing the dome.
   • Wipe off excess fire cement with a wet cloth both inside and outside the joint.
   • Allow 24 hours for drying.

Important Note: The fire cement serves as a sealant, not adhesive. It does not glue the base to the dome. When moving the oven after assembly, lift the base with the dome on it, avoiding lifting the oven by the dome's mouth.
